  • Location: Siem Reap Cambodia (office-based)
  • Working Hours: 9 AM 5 PM Monday to Friday
  • Duration: Minimum 3 months

Deliverables

  • In this exciting volunteer opportunity, you’ll play a key role in enhancing KOW’s online presence and driving targeted traffic to its website and online store.
  • Your work will have a direct impact on KOW’s mission to support ethical practices and sustainable business models while contributing to the growth of a socially responsible brand.

Search Engine Optimization :

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive SEO strategy, focusing on technical improvements and high-impact content creation.
  • Conduct keyword research, competitor analysis, and market research to identify priorities and opportunities.
  • Utilize tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Ahrefs, and Semrush to monitor progress and refine strategies.

Search Engine Advertising Campaigns:

  • Design, manage, and optimize paid ad campaigns across platforms including Google Ads, social media, Amazon, and Etsy.
  • Leverage keyword and market insights to target customer demographics effectively.
  • Analyze campaign performance to improve ROI and explore innovative approaches for greater reach.

General Digital Marketing Support:

  • Collaborate with the KOW team to align digital marketing efforts with overall branding and goals.

  • Share insights from data to improve customer targeting and website conversions.

Working Enviroment

  • Volunteers will work at KOW’s unique workspace, a serene and inspiring traditional Khmer wooden house surrounded by lush palm trees. This idyllic setting provides the perfect backdrop for creative work and cultural immersion.
  • Volunteers will collaborate with skilled artisans and dedicated staff in an interactive environment, providing opportunities for cultural exchange and professional growth.

Requirements

  • Bachelors/Masters in Marketing or a related field
  • Native English speaker
  • A sense of aesthetics and a love for great copy and witty communication
  • Demonstrable experience in social media and online engagement together with the potential and attitude required to learn
  • Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement-based applications
  • Able to financially support yourself throughout the project
