- They aim to create and share unique and luxury hand-woven rattan baskets, and home and fashion accessories while empowering and supporting rural artisan Cambodian women with a sustainable future.
Project Brief
- Suitable for: University students, experienced professionals, or retired professionals
- Project type: Unpaid volunteer project
- Location: Siem Reap Cambodia or from home
- Working Hours: 9 am 5 pm Monday to Friday
- Duration: Minimum of 3 months
- Start date: The project is ongoing, and you can join at any time, depending on availability
- Reports to: Founder and Director
Deliverables
As a Business Development Volunteer, you will play a crucial role in driving the growth and expansion of MANAVA.
- Identify and target potential clients and business opportunities within the wholesale (B2B) sector through networking and online research.
- Plan and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.
- Build a deep understanding of our products and present them effectively to clients.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients.
- Present and promote the company’s products/services to prospective clients.
- Negotiate and close deals to meet or exceed monthly sales targets.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client interactions in the CRM database.
- Provide regular feedback and reports on sales performance.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, sales, or a related field
- Experience in business development, sales, or a similar role, in the wholesale B2B industry
- Strong understanding of B2B market dynamics and customer needs
- Excellent English communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- A passion for sustainable fashion and social impact initiatives
