Traditional Rattan Weaving Classes at Manava

At the Manava artisan workshop, nestled in a charming basketry village only 10 kilometers away from Siem Reap, you can learn the art of traditional rattan weaving from local artisans.

Join the 2-hour weaving class and make your own unique rattan key hanger or bangle, a perfect souvenir, and memory of your visit. You’ll leave with new skills and a deeper appreciation for the art of basketry.

A tuk-tuk will take you directly to the village and bring you back after the class.

You will be provided rattan palm and willow grass material, along with all the tools required for the weaving class. You will create your handcrafted artwork to take home.

Thanks to the support of an English/Khmer guide, you will be able to interact and make friends with the female artisans, as well as see how they work in their village.
