  • Duration: 2-hour workshop, daily from 9 AM to 11:30 AM.
  • Availability: A minimum of 2 participants is required to start the class. Book 3 days in advance.

Description

At the Manava artisan workshop, nestled in a charming basketry village only 10 kilometers away from Siem Reap, you can learn the art of traditional rattan weaving from local artisans.

Experience

      • Join the 2-hour weaving class and make your own unique rattan key hanger or bangle, a perfect souvenir, and memory of your visit. You’ll leave with new skills and a deeper appreciation for the art of basketry.

      • A tuk-tuk will take you directly to the village and bring you back after the class.

      • You will be provided rattan palm and willow grass material, along with all the tools required for the weaving class. You will create your handcrafted artwork to take home.

      • Thanks to the support of an English/Khmer guide, you will be able to interact and make friends with the female artisans, as well as see how they work in their village.
