Deliverables

  • Share the organization’s  story and the beautiful products they are creating with the whole world! 
  • Create fresh digital marketing campaigns
  • Create content for newsletter, and blogs that engages the target market
  • Outreach to bloggers and editor
  • Researches client base to find new customers
  • Documenting all of your lead and sales data
  • Research suitable events, fairs and pop-ups to attend

Requirements

  • Excellent command of the English language

  • Knowledge of   Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign, Word, Excel
  • Former experience in marketing and sales – nice to have

  • Knowledge and passion for contemporary (fashion) design, trends, basketry, branding and hand made products

  • Interest in Cambodia, women’s empowerment and artisans

The Host Organization

  • This internship project supports a social enterprise/company called MANAVA based in Siem Reap, Cambodia. They  work closely with rural artisanal Cambodian women and together they create quality hand-woven rattan products, such as bags and baskets. 
  • Their final goal is to support their team of artisans with a stable and financial future. They do this by providing them a fair income, offering quality level weaving training and providing life skills education.
  • Ka-Lai Chan, the co-founder of MANAVA has almost 10 years’ experience as a product designer. She worked for renowned International design brands, hotels and museums.
